Even though I remain incredibly jazzed that On Hiatus was nominated for an Ignatz Award (you can still read the entire comic, for free, here), I’m sadly not going to be at SPX due to a complicated, yet completely mundane and boring set of circumstances (including what I believe was the vague suggestion that since I am genetically part clam, I can be legally hunted in Maryland). I will be there in spirit though, haunting alternative cartoonists like I am Reese Witherspoon and they are a bunch of Mark Ruffalos at an Alt Ruffalo Expo.
I also have comics in a few books that are going to be on sale there including the new Study Group Magazine, and Felony Comics.
I’ll be selling my new mini comic The Breakfast Thief at Paper Jam tomorrow! Also you’ll be able to play my game, You Are The Wormhole in an arcade cabinet which I am super excited about!
Some of the cool things that’ll be at Paper Jam:
Zines! Comics! Haircuts! Screen printing! Music! Exclamation marks!
There’s a new page of The Short Con on Study Group!
Here’s a thank you gif.
A giant thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to play/share/write about You Are The Wormhole! <3 <3 <3
Here’s a poem/review someone wrote about it.
And an article on Kotaku about it.
A new page of The Short Con went up on Friday on Study Group!
The final pages of ON HIATUS went up on Study Group yesterday.
You can read the entire 3-part story here.
Sincere thanks to everybody that read it, might read it, said nice things about it, thought nice things about it, or thought not nice things about it, but didn’t say them to me. And thanks again to Study Group and Zack for putting it up.
I am now going to spend the rest of the summer enjoying nature by whispering all of my regrets into my dog’s mouth while laying unmoving on the floor.
