Here’s a quick digital study after a Tom Lovell painting (I used this painting). I hadn’t “just painted” in Photoshop in ages so I figured this would be good practice. I tried to keep my brushstrokes loose and while it’s not super accurate it was a fun exercise. Still I couldn’t help noodling over it in the end. I weep over my lack of discipline.
